Audit a Cambridge CELTA Course for Free

Our Sponsor a Trainee Program lets you Audit a CELTA Course for Free

EfA was founded on the belief that quality teacher training should be made affordable to English teachers everywhere. The highest quality teacher training currently available is the CELTA course, and EfA has become Morocco’s largest CELTA center in number of candidates trained on a yearly basis.

For a variety of reasons, though, the CELTA course remains highly priced for most Moroccans, and for many people around the world.

To solve this problem, we have designed, and will soon offer, our own internationally recognized TEFL course, the first edition of which will be held later this year.

Today we are going one step further by offering a reduction to all CELTA trainees who accept to sponsor an auditor. The auditors will be able to follow the CELTA course, either face-to-face or online, and share the CELTA experience with their sponsoring trainee.

What this is not

This is not an opportunity to take the CELTA course for free, nor to get the CELTA certificate for free.

What does it Mean to Audit a CELTA Course?

Auditing a course is a money-free way of benefitting from the learning taking place on a CELTA course.

Auditing trainees will

  • Have access to the Cambridge CELTA Moodle with over 50 hours of interactive CELTA-level instruction;

  • Watch teaching practice and lesson planning sessions live;

  • Receive recordings of oral feedback sessions with all the trainees on the course;

  • Receive a copy of written feedback for all lessons taught by the sponsoring trainee;

  • Have regular meetings with the sponsoring trainee, giving and receiving support in assimilating and understanding the course content.

This means that, for no money at all, selected auditors will get access to the full CELTA experience without spending a single cent.

Save Money on the CELTA by Sponsoring Another Trainee

If you take a CELTA course with EfA, you can become a sponsoring trainee. This is a great way to save money not only on the CELTA course, but on all future teacher training courses taken with EfA. This is in addition to the knowledge that you have helped to further improve the qualify of language teaching for the auditing trainee and the learning of experience of all that of that trainee’s future students.

Sponsoring trainees will

  • Get 5 percent off the CELTA course;

  • Get 5 percent off of all future professional development courses taken with EfA (DELTA, How-to-teach-IELTS, How-to-teach business English, etc…)

  • Share their CELTA experience with a supportive and motivated auditing trainee;

  • Help a fellow teacher improve their teaching skills, and make an impact not only on that teacher, but on the lives of all of that teacher’s future students as well.

If you want to sponsor an auditing trainee, just tick the corresponding box on your CELTA application form. (Please note that only one auditing trainee is allowed per teaching practice group, on a first come first served basis.)
