Hamza came onto the CELTA course with no teaching experience. His background working for a large international organization, however, had helped him to develop the organizational and communication skills that would be very useful in succeeding on the CELTA course—and he did indeed do very well on the course, supporting students and engaging with them in a personal way, and writing lesson plans that were extremely useful in helping him to clarify language in a student-centered way while minimizing teacher talk. He is also now paces his lessons well, reaching all relevant lesson stages without rushing his students. We are proud to have had him on our training course, and we wish him the best in his future teaching career.
