Ilyas came onto the CELTA course with some teaching experience and a solid grounding in linguistics and didactics. He was able to build on this knowledge to transition and move away from more traditional, teacher-centered language presentation methods, and adopt techniques that put the student at the center of the learning process. He also managed to hone his classroom management skills, from lowering teacher talk to grading his language effectively. He now plans and teaches his lessons with a focus on his learners and improving their communication skills. We are proud to have had him on our training course, and we wish him the best in his future teaching career.
